SEE WHAT CHILDREN CAN CREATE

"Did we really do this ourselves?"

This is the moment that makes bringing sculpture into the studio worthwhile.

Step beyond the page. Open up the third dimension for children.

Moving from 2D to 3D changes the way one thinks about creation. A child builds an object that can be viewed from every angle, discovering volume, proportions, and the relationships between elements.

They construct, experiment, and solve problems developing spatial imagination and creative independence.

Creative Sculpture provides 13 lesson plans to help you introduce this process into your classes.

P.S. Every sculpture has its own shadow :)

Who is this system for?

The creator of this method
 VIOLA JOCZ

DSC05612.jpg
baner kartka_edited_edited.jpg

Art educator, artist, and founder of the Kulturka Art Studio.

For over 30 years, I’ve been creating spaces where art becomes more than learning a technique. For me, art is a way of discovering yourself, understanding the world, and finding your own way of thinking and expressing ideas.

I’m the founder of Kulturka Art Studio, where we work with children through painting, sculpture, design, mixed media, large-scale projects, and experimental forms of art.

I don’t believe in one correct result. I believe in giving children strong artistic tools, introducing them to techniques and materials, and then leaving enough space for their own decisions.

Every child comes with natural creative potential. Our role as educators is not to show them what their work should look like, but to create the conditions in which that potential can grow.

Over the years, I’ve created programs such as Art Laboratory and Winter ART Shelter, organized more than 50 exhibitions, led three art studios, and co-created performances combining visual art, movement, dance, and performance.

Today, my lesson plans and educational materials are used by educators in over 90 countries.

Kulturka is the place where this approach was built.

It is a working art studio, not a concept created for an online course.

The projects inside The Creative Art Teaching System come directly from years of working with children, testing ideas, changing materials, observing what engages them, and learning how much can happen when we stop asking children to reproduce an example and start giving them real artistic possibilities.

I want other educators to be able to bring that experience into their own classrooms and studios while still making it completely their own.

FAQ

1. What exactly is included in the package?

Three PDF e-books: Creative Sculpture, Creative Sculpture 2, and Creative Sculpture 3, featuring a total of 10 sculpture lesson plans.

You also receive three bonuses: the Children’s Art Lab 2 e-book, plus the Abstract Emotion Faces and Big Easter Street Eggs lessons.

2. Do the bonuses cost extra?

No. All three bonuses are included in the price of the bundle.

3. Do I need any sculpture experience?

No specialist sculpture experience is required to get started. The e-books explain the materials and guide you through each stage of the process. We recommend testing the chosen technique yourself before introducing it to your students.

4. What age group are these projects for?

The projects can be adapted for children, teenagers, and adults. The level of independence will depend on the technique you choose.

For younger children, prepare the more challenging construction elements in advance and simplify the task where needed.

5. Do I need a ceramic kiln?

No. The sculpture projects included in the bundle use techniques that do not require firing in a ceramic kiln.

6. What materials will I need?

Depending on the project, materials may include cardboard, recycled materials, Styrofoam, pool noodles, wire, metal mesh, plaster bandages, and paint.

Each lesson plan includes its own materials list.

Techniques involving expanding foam, sharp tools, or metal mesh require appropriate preparation and adult involvement during the more demanding stages.

7. Can a project be completed in one class?

It depends on the size of the artwork, the technique, and the group.

Some projects are best divided into several stages, such as building the structure, covering the form, and painting, while allowing enough time for drying between stages.

8. Are children supposed to copy the artworks shown in the e-books?

No. The photos are there to help explain the technique and show what is possible.

Children can make their own decisions about proportions, colors, composition, arrangement of elements, and the overall character of their sculptures.

9. Can I adapt the projects to my own group?

Yes. You can change the scale, theme, level of complexity, and pace of the project.

If you decide to substitute construction materials, we recommend testing how the materials work together before using them with your group.

10. Can I use these projects in my own classes?

Yes. You can use the projects in your own classes, workshops, and educational activities.

The e-books and teaching materials themselves may not be resold, shared, redistributed, or presented as your own materials.

11. Will I receive any physical products?

No. This is a digital bundle.

All art materials needed to complete the projects must be purchased or prepared separately.

12. What language are the materials available in?

All materials included in the bundle are in English.
